ReDiscover Downtown Peru is a community-driven nonprofit working to make downtown a place to live, work, and play. We're Peru's Main Street organization, part of a statewide network, and we're a volunteer-led working board — business owners and residents who set the direction and then do the work.
THE FOUR POINT APPROACH
Design
Improving the physical and visual character of downtown buildings and public spaces (facades, signage, streetscape).
Promotion
Marketing downtown as the heart of Peru — events, branding, and telling downtown's story.
Economic Vitality
Strengthening the downtown business district: filling vacant buildings, supporting existing businesses, attracting new investment.
Organization
Building a strong, sustainable base: partnerships, volunteers, funding, and board leadership.
